First set-up your profile and personalize your NINES, 9dcc’s proprietary POP (Proof of Presence) platform that allows you to release personalized digital collectibles to people you meet IRL (in real life) like a digital business card, only better. You can even see your gallery of everyone who you’ve met and interacted with. NINES fosters social connections and fosters community.
Did you know you can play games on your 9dcc products? Tap your product to enter the action during special time-bound windows. Compete for points or just play for fun. Your participation will be displayed on a leaderboard for bragging rights.

What is an NFC chip, and how does 9dcc use it in its products?
9dcc's Networked Products leverage NFC technology to bridge digital experiences to the physical product. Most modern smartphones are equipped with NFC reader capabilities (the same tapped technology that Apple Pay and Google Pay use). Tapping the NFC chip on a 9dcc product with your phone allows you to activate the chip and engage with the ecosystem—no app required.
The NFC chip uses short-range technology to connect with your NFC-enabled mobile device to prompt a menu of actions related to 9dcc’s products. Here users will be able to claim the accompanying digital twin that proves ownership of the physical garment. Once the NFC chip is tapped (located on the “9” embroidery or patch) you can create an account using your email, socials, or wallet.
Can the NFC chip be used to track me?
No. The NFC chip does not track your movements in any way.
Can I machine wash the 9dcc product without damaging the NFC chip?
Yes, each NFC chip is protected and safe for machine washing. Please follow the care instructions found on the garment you’re laundering.
How do I tap or access the 9dcc ecosystem?
Simply use your phone to tap the NFC chip located on the “9” embroidery or patch logo on all 9dcc products.
If using an iPhone to tap, sleep and wake the phone, unlock and then tap on the upper third of the back of the phone to the 9 logo, it’s the same process you would use for Apple Pay.
For Android devices, first make sure the NFC functionality is turned on in quick drop down settings on the home screen. Tap the middle of the back of the phone to the 9. This is the same process you would use for Google Pay.
